Success in difficult operating environments is heavily dependent on effective project support which can be the difference between a project delivered on-time and within budget, and one that is stalled because of problems with logistics, personnel, security or accountability.
This is particularly true in high risk and remote locations where conditions can be unsafe, unpredictable, and vary greatly between different villages or communities within the region.
Sometimes an organisation is unable (or unwilling) to undertake all of the project elements using in-house resources. This can be because it is not cost effective for the organisation to engage the skill-set on a short term basis, or where a particular type of skill is necessary e.g. language skills or geographic knowledge of the project area, or where the organisation lacks sufficient expertise to operate safely and effectively in a high risk or difficult environment.
By outsourcing selected project components or positions, organisations can focus on core contract and operational outcomes while essential project enablers are looked after by people with the right skills and experience.
Axinto can provide support in three ways. We can provide personnel through our Recruitment Services (see tab) who are employed by the client or employed by us to work with the client. We can be sub-contracted to provide specific project components (such as risk management, security, logistics, facilities, medical and communications). Finally, we can be contracted to deliver the entire project.

Recruitment Services
Attracting, developing and retaining the right people can be difficult at the best of times but recruiting for projects in high risk, challenging or remote environments can be problematic given the need for culturally and geographically diverse teams comprised of local and expatriate employees and contractors.
Building and maintaining an effective workforce in an isolated, unstable or hostile environment requires considerable workforce planning, legal understanding, careful recruitment and selection, pre-deployment preparation and training and ongoing administrative and financial management of staff throughout the project.
